Adding Facebook Status to Your Blog

adding facebook status to your blogFacebook is one of very popular social networking (micro blogging), most people who know about internet mostly have facebook account. Facebook connect you with your friend around the world, you can easily check what they are doing by looking their status.

Adding facebook status to a blog is very simple and I think many blogger know it. I just wanna share to everyone, so you can also put your status to your blog, it is very useful to make a friendship. People who like you will add you as their friend.

There are many ways in order to place your facebook status to your blog, some plugins (for wordpress) have already made by plugin maker and ready to use, but now I just use code that given by facebook itself.

facebook status badgeTo add your facebook status to your blog, you must login first to your facebook account. Find out Create a Profile Badge in your Profile page, at bottom left side then click this link, Facebook Badges page will appear now.

facebook status badge editOn Facebook badges page you can create or edit badge. You can edit the layout and items for your badge by clicking Edit This Badge link. Choose option layout, there are 3 options: Vertical, Horizontal and 2-cols then select items you want to show on your badge. If you feel satisfied with your badge, click Save button. You will be brought back to Facebook badges page. Copy html code to your blog. You must delete some code in order to make badge image appear in your blog. Find out code like below in img tag:

Every account has different number of png image, delete badge code, and now the code like below:

http://facebook.com/badge/1237468781.957.992091318.png

After you place the badge code in your widget, check your blog now, try to adjust width and height of image to fit with your space you have.
